We met Stephen Lockyear when he was presenting a Bloomsbury Publishing Teachmeet last year. Have you all discovered teachmeets yet?
He was charismatic and funny and talked so positively about the children that I couldn't help but seek out one of his many books. Out of the 100 ideas, one of my favourite is Idea 78: Soundtrack your day. Offering lots of ideas for using music and noise to create atmospheres in the classroom.
This would be a good quick ideas book for yourself, or a gift for a new teacher!
