NT is Ok! Book Review

Supporting our children and young people to understand and celebrate difference can sometimes be a challenge - it can be so hard to see the world from a totally different point of view.
Luckily there is a burgeoning market in resources and books to support teachers to help the children in their classes understand neuro diversity.  One of these is the incredibly accessible 'Why Johnny Doesn't Flap - NT is OK!'
Told from the point of view of a young boy with autism this book is designed to explain the world from a totally different point of view.
This book would be great to help children see how their friends with autism understand and experience friendships, new experiences, different environments and sensory experiences.
It may also support autistic children to explain to their friends why they might get upset at different times in the day.
Primary school classrooms would definitely benefit from having this book in the book corner for everyone to access to promote inclusive friendships.
