I am working with a few young boys in Reception/KS1 who are struggling with dressing and self care routines.
We decided that this needed to be a focus and that lots of practice was needed.
Instead of just repeating trousers on/trousers off multiple times, I wanted to make it fun for the children.
They love superheroes and so I came up with a set of activities that all work on fine motor skills and fastenings but in a way that the children are working towards becoming a superhero (they get to dress up right at the end).
