Something I really try to develop in the classroom is ensuring that in every lesson children with communication and language difficulties are given maximum opportunity to
communicate.
In art lessons I find there are loads of different ways to support children to request what they
need. I withhold all the art materials
for a lesson e.g. paint, paintbrushes etc. and the children are supported to
