For a better result than I got, use glue and a paintbrush and then it really will be a surprise. You could follow this up by playing the ‘Skeleton Dance’ song (YouTube this) or reading Funny Bones. A nice art activity is using art straws to make skeletons. You could also set up a role play hospital. If you are lucky enough to know anyone that works in a hospital, you could ask them for old X-Rays they don’t need (a colleague once did this, the children loved it!) and then set up a light box so they can explore the bones!
