For many of you, STEM week is fast approaching. There is a lot of emphasis on promoting science, technology, engineering and maths in schools at the moment, with there being a shortage of suitable candidates in these roles in industry. Over the christmas holidays, the BBC aired an absolutely brilliant and inspiring programme on a group of ‘makers’ that look at everyday challenges that people face and work as a team to come up with innovative solutions.
